At St. James Parish, we offer a two-year Sacramental preparation program for children in 1st through 8th grade, leading to First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Classes are available in both English and Spanish to serve the needs of our diverse community. Typically, children receive their First Holy Communion in 2nd grade, following a program that nurtures their understanding of the sacraments and deepens their faith journey.

Is your child receiving their First Holy Communion this year? Please review the parent packet distributed at our January meeting to help your child with questions about the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist. The packet also includes important dates and details for their preparation.
